Jim Ryan.
Jim
enjoys painting landscapes and scenes in oil. Landscapes
and scenes capture the form as well as the essence of
what is seen. Scenic paintings
bring a story to a new, visual level and can be very
emotive.
Jim's instruction has come from
painters and teachers in various styles and he has
combined it with his appreciation of Edward Hopper to
achieve works that are visually capturing and tell a
story. Paintings can be produced by the artist from photographs or from
plein aire renderings that are often completed in the
studio.
